Easy Ways to Contribute to Imagine South Lake

Organizations

PTO: The PTO is a vital organization in our school. Becoming a paid member of
the PTO - dues are only $5/annually per family - have directly supported school sports, arts and academic programs. If you are interested in becoming a member complete the membership form, which can be downloaded from this site's PTO page (see Leadership above).

Also the PTO is the school primary fundraising arm, developing and running programs such as the two Scholastic Book Fairs, Holiday Snowman Shop and Spring Carnival. Parents interested in volunteering for these and other events can contact the PTO via this website.

Booster Club: The school has a growing extra curricular athletics program which now includes inter-mural teams in cross country, basketball, soccer, volleyball and cheerleading. The Booster Club was formed this year to provide parents with a way to show their support, both personally and financially. Booster Club membership - dues are only $5/annually per family - help offset the costs of permits, uniforms and equipment. There will also be specific fundraisers and game concession sale opportunities which will give everyone in the family an opportunity to show their team spirit. Label Collection Programs

Several companies reward purchases of their products by supporting schools. Below is a list of the programs with which ISL is registered. We use all the funds awarded by these programs to support our athelitic program, both our physical education classes and our sports teams.

Campbell’s Labels for Education: The program is not just for Campbell Soup Labels, but all Campbell brands such as: V8 Juices, Franco-American, Swanson, Prego sauces, Spaghettio's and Pepperidge Farm. Please visit the web site at www.labelsforeducation.com for details and have your student deposit your collected labels in the Campbell's Labels for Education hamper in the front office.

General Mills' Box Tops for Education: Please visit the web site at http://www.boxtops4education.com for details and start clipping the special box tops off such great brands as Cheerios, Hefty, Huggies, Ziploc, Juicy Juice, Betty Crocker and Cottonelle. Please place all box tops in the hamper in our front office.

Spirit Nights

Numerous businesses from restaurants (e.g., Chick-Fil-A, Tijuana Flats, etc.) to bookstores (e.g., Barnes & Noble) will partner with our school for a night. During these times the business donates a portion of their profits from that night directly to the school. Spirit Nights are announced via flyers sent home, on our bulletin boards and website; we hope you will all join us for them.

Companies

Office Depot: They will give our school 5% back on all qualifying school supply purchases! Just designate our school when you checkout or go to their website, www.officedepot.com, and enter South Lake Charter School or ID #70210189 when you place your order.

Disney’s “The Ears To You” Program: The program recognizes individual Cast Members and Imagineers for their VoluntEAR service through a financial contribution sponsored by The Walt Disney Company; contributions go to the eligible non-profit organization of their choice.

All regular full-time and regular part-time Cast Members and Imagineers who have been employed by the Company for minimum of 6 months, and who have VoluntEARed a minimum of 10 hours in the calendar year, are eligible to apply for this grant; contact WDW VoluntEARS, 8-222-4993 (828-4993), if you have any questions regarding the Ears-To-You program.

Target Charge for Education: Use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card and our school will receive percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. Signing-up your card is easy; just visit www.target.com, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. Grandparents, friends and neighbors can take part, too!
